Meet the team

As our Managing Director, Matt leads the team across all departments! Whether he’s supporting the Reservations team with large charter bookings, chatting with guests on the wharf, or getting stuck in with jet boat maintenance, you’ll always find him sharing a laugh with the team and ensuring our passengers have a thrilling experience on Sydney Harbour! Outside of work, Matt loves spending time with his two young daughters. He can’t wait until they are tall enough for their first Red Shark Thrill Ride! If he’s not out on Sydney Harbour delivering high-speed thrills as a skipper, Andrew will be working hard behind-the-scenes to ensure Oz Jet Boating’s fleet of four jet boats is kept in fantastic condition for our passengers! Outside of work, Andrew enjoys catching up with his friends and playing with his dog. If you stop to see us at Circular Quay, there’s a good chance you’ll find our Wharf Manager, Bella, supporting the team as we welcome passengers on-board for their jet boating adventures! Be sure to hang around after your ride so she can show you a video from your ride on our TV screen… Outside of work, Bella loves spending time with her family and exploring Sydney. Chris supports the wharf team as they deliver excellent customer service to our passengers. You might find him onboarding new team members with training, chatting with customers about the ride, or working behind-the-scenes to co-ordinate special Sydney events, such as our cruises for Vivid Sydney and New Year’s Eve. Outside of work, keen surfer, Chris spends his time riding waves on Sydney’s northern beaches and catching up with friends.  Chris’ recommended post-jet boat ride activity: A trip to Manly beach.

If you’ve ever called, texted or emailed Oz Jet Boating, there’s a good chance you’ve chatted with the fantastic Kiri! From booking in birthday parties, to liaising with international charter groups, and preparing exciting promotions for our customers, Kiri connects people from around the world to Sydney Harbour with an unforgettable jet boat adventure. Outside of work, Kiri spends time with her children and loves to unwind with her latest fantasy novel. Kiri’s recommended post-jet boat ride activity: A stroll around the stunning Botanical Gardens.

Bringing a wealth of experience in the tourism industry, Michael connects with travel agents and tour groups to add the ultimate Red Shark Thrill Ride to their Sydney itinerary! We love welcoming international passengers on-board and will go above and beyond to make them feel at home during the ride… Did you know private charter bookings can choose their own music? Our Accounts Manager, Sandy, is on-hand to keep our accounts in order, which frees the rest of the team up to focus on delivering unbeatable thrills for our passengers! Sandy’s recommended post-jet boat ride activity: A shopping trip to Sydney’s CBD.

After first joining the team in 2016 as a Wharf Team Member, Megan returned to Oz Jet Boating to manage our marketing channels (…freeing up the rest of us to focus on our epic thrill rides!). Whether it’s whipping up a new brochure for the wharf or creating engaging content online, Megan is passionate about reaching new audiences so everyone can experience The Famous Red Shark Thrill Ride. When she’s not on the wharf, you’ll find Megan behind-the-scenes thinking up fun concepts for our social media channels (check us out: @OzJetBoating). Outside of work, Megan loves visiting new beaches around the city. Megan’s recommended post-jet boat ride activity: Stretch your legs with the stunning Bondi to Coogee coastal walk.

With a background in events management, Morvern takes Circular Quay’s bustling crowds in her stride! On the wharf, she supports the team to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You might recognise her face from our social media channels – between rides she loves getting involved in fun videos for our TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook (check out the content @OzJetBoating). Outside of work, Morvern spends her days exploring Sydney’s picturesque nature spots. University student, Zac started out as a part of the wharf team before becoming a skipper, so he knows Oz Jet Boating like the back of his hand! You’ll find Zac out on Sydney Harbour most days showcasing its iconic landmarks, whilst delivering heart-racing thrills with a mix of high-speed manoeuvres. Outside of work, Zac loves catching a game of footy or cricket with his mates.  Zac’s recommended post-jet boat ride activity: Head over to the North Sydney Oval and grab a ticket for the cricket!

Friendly, organised, and always up for a chat, Tessa helps keep things ticking along on the wharf at Circular Quay. She’s usually busy supporting the crew, making sure everyone’s ready to go, and helping guests kick off their jet boating adventure with a smile! Outside of work, Tessa loves checking out new cafés, going for waterfront walks, and enjoying everything Sydney has to offer. Tessa’s recommended post-jet boat ride activity: Catch the bus to Coogee Beach from Circular Quay to watch the sunset.

With a passion for high-speed fun and big smiles, Kyan is all about delivering an unforgettable jet boat experience. Known for his smooth spins, splashy power brakes, and upbeat energy on board, he knows exactly how to get the crowd pumped from start to finish.
