TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All passengers, including all minors, must be at least 1.2m tall to ride.
2. Passengers under the age of 13 must ride with a parent/guardian who is over the age of 18.
3. Passengers must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure or seats may be reassigned.
4. Cancellation must be received at least 24 hours prior to departure or full payment will be due.
5. Private Charter or Groups 10+ Bookings – A non-refundable 20% deposit is due at the time of booking, and final payment is due 7 days prior to booking date.
6. Private Charter & Groups 10+ Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than 72hrs prior to booking date are eligible for a refund, less 20% of booking total. Cancellations with less than 72hrs notice will not be refunded and 100% of the booking total is due.
7. Private Charter & Groups 10+ Reschedule Policy: Reschedule requests are required 48hrs prior to departure. Reschedule requests with less than 48hrs notice will incur the below fees.
   
   • Groups 10+ (Public departure) – $25pp
   • Private Charters – $500 per departure
8. All rates are subject to change due to increases in fuel and operating costs; however, where bookings are paid in full at the time of confirmation, rates will be honoured as per the invoice.
9. Reschedule requests received within 24 hours prior to departure will incur a $25 fee per passenger. If you cancel your booking in accordance with our cancellation policy, you will receive a booking credit. This credit must be used to rebook and complete your ride within 12 months of the original booking date. Any unused credit after this time will expire.
10. Inflating your lifejacket intentionally may result in a $75 service charge per lifejacket.
11. If we need to cancel a ride due to inclement weather, or for any other reason, the ride will be rescheduled. If the ride cannot be rescheduled, or the passenger cannot attend an alternative ride, a full refund of the ticket price will be provided.
12. Valuables are not permitted on board the jet boat or vessel. We take no responsibility and accept no liability for any loss or damage of valuables.
13. All passengers acknowledge and agree, including any parent or guardian responsible for a minor, that all passengers ride at their own risk and that jet boating and boating generally are inherently dangerous activities that carry inherent risk, including personal injury or death.
14. Adult passengers must sign an Assumption of Risk Form prior to boarding, for themselves and for any minors in their care. The Assumption of Risk Form is part of our Terms and Conditions and can be viewed here: Assumption of Risk Form.
15. By participating in the ride, adult passengers agree to indemnify and release us from all liability and claims in respect of any personal injury, death, damage, or loss arising from participation in the ride. “Loss” includes medical costs, expenses, and loss of income or future earnings.
16. Passengers agree to comply with all instructions and directions given by the Captain of the jet boat or vessel.
17. Passengers agree to consider their own health and ability to participate in the ride and disclose any medical condition that may cause injury or aggravation during the ride. Participation is at the passenger’s own risk.
18. Passengers with back, neck, shoulder, or heart conditions, or any injuries that may be aggravated by the ride, are strongly advised not to ride. Participation is at their own risk.
19. Passengers who are pregnant are strongly advised not to ride. Participation is at their own risk.
20. Passengers who have consumed alcohol or mind-altering substances (including certain medications) prior to the ride are strongly advised not to participate. If they do, they do so at their own risk.
21. Passengers must wear a life jacket at all times. Child life jackets are rated to 40kg; minors over 40kg must wear adult life jackets. Adult life jackets are rated to 150kg; passengers over 150kg are strongly advised not to ride.
22. If a passenger suffers injury or illness during the ride, they consent to evacuation and first-aid treatment. Any additional medical treatment must be provided by a qualified medical professional.
23. Passengers may be filmed or photographed during the ride. Participation grants us the right to use such media for any purpose without notification or compensation. Passengers not agreeing to this will receive a full refund and should not ride.
24. We reserve the right to alter the departure time and vessel departure point as reasonably required.
25. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any person at our discretion. Anyone refused participation will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid.
